Welcome to Fort Firelands Seasonal
Work Information Page
Hello and welcome to our seasonal workpage. We are Jeff and Terri Barton and we're glad you are considering Fort Firelands for your seasonal work place. As you will see in the photos on this page, as well as photos on
the inpark activities pages, there is work to do along with lots of fun. We have an experienced core group to assist you in getting accquainted with your new surroundings and responsibilities. And here at Fort Firelands, pride in your work does not go unnoticed by the tenants or management. |
Fort Firelands is a full-scale replica of an early 1800s-style frontier fort. The Fort complex, pictured on the left, is used by our Activities Committee for their many events throughout the season. Within the complex are shops, a restaurant, weekend flea market and a stage for bands and other activities. In addition, our area is rich in recreational activities: Kellys Island, Put-in-Bay on South Bass Island, Cedar Point Amusement Park, Perch and Walleye fishing, just to name a few. |
We are looking for experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic couples who take pride and care in their workmanship. Duties may include security and rules enforcement, park greeter for limited overnight traffic, event staffing and cleanup, landscaping, general park beautification, as well as maintenance of shower house, laundry facility, rental camper, fish table and the Fort complex. Duties may also include swimming pool conditioning and care, carpentry, electric, plumbing and plumbing systems work, electronic gate operation, and painting. |
If you are looking for a unique, rewarding and memorable season then apply to join our Fort Firelands family by sending your resume and current photo (of yourselves and RV) to: info@fortfirelands.com. Registered Workampers only need apply. |
