June 7th and 8th - Pioneer and Primitive Arts Festival
Spent a day learning about Pioneer ways and the Primitive Arts of times gone by. Rob "Armchair" Geeding, and associates will be setting up a pioneer camp. Authentic dress and methods will convey "the way it was" on the early frontier. Atl-atl dart throwing for kids and adults to learn about the methods of the Paleo Hunter. Possible ISAC contest. Flint Knapper to demonstrate the Art of Arrowhead and Knife making. A big event this year as more Reenactors and Artists become involved.

May 31st - June 1st - L.E.A.K.O.I.L. Lake Erie Area Kombis Owners Involvement League, Campout and Swap Meet
Volkwagon Bus and Beetle Fans will want to check out this group's assortment of VW's which will be displayed in the Fort Complex. What an awesome event this turned out to be for everyone involved. Saturday Campout in Fort, Show and Swap Meet on Sunday, stop in!

July 19th and 20th – The Brigade of the American Revolution
Fort Firelands proudly hosts this groups’ fantastic recreation of a colonial war encampment. A feast for the eyes and ears, you will enjoy demonstrations and historical information. Mingle with the soldiers, and learn about colonial dress from the women of the time. You won’t want to miss this! Kettle Korn and Flea Market. A must see weekend event, this group is top rate.

This year Fort Firelands will be hosting the second annual, car show. This event was a great success last year and we look forward to it being even bigger, and better in 2008.
Cruise into this event in your mean machines, a 2nd. for our resort the show promises to be a great time for all. Door prizes provided by Fort Firelands, and the many shops located in the Fort Complex. Dash Plaques and Top three prizes for participants in show. Local DJ on hand to Rock you, and Roll you "old style".

Fort Firelands is working on scheduling an event or two, with local rock bands. Our stage has been graced in the past with such big name bands as: Steppenwolf and Alice Cooper, we think it is time to revive the tradition of a great entertainment venue, so stay tuned for more details.
